The Northern Irishman is gaining plenty of attention for his performances
West Bromwich Albion have started Ryan Mason's tenure in fine fashion, with plenty pinning the club's strong start to the season on the influence of Isaac Price.
The Baggies are currently one of four sides - as well as Middlesbrough, Coventry City and Bristol City - yet to taste defeat in the Championship so far this season, winning three times against Blackburn Rovers, Wrexham and Stoke City whilst also drawing with Portsmouth at The Hawthorns.
Albion supporters are seeing a much more fluid and attack-minded approach under the former Tottenham Hotspur assistant in what is his first full-time managerial role, allowing the club's more creative players to flourish and express themselves, with Price at the forefront of such developments thus far.
The Northern Ireland international has gained plenty of media attention and plaudits from Baggies supporters and those across the Irish Sea, as well as general Championship observers and pundits for his electrifying start to the season.
As interest in his performances continues to only go one way, Football League World has looked into the 21-year-old's current financial situation in the West Midlands, with many tipping West Brom to make a hefty profit on their initial January investment.
The former Everton man moved to West Brom during Tony Mowbray's solitary transfer window in his second spell in charge of the club, with the experienced boss acquiring his services from Standard Liege for a reported £2.5m fee.
The aforementioned figure is now looking a major coup for the Championship side, having initially showcased his ability to feature in multiple positions across the Baggies' midfield and defence, as well as opening his account for the club with a fine second-half volley against Hull City in a 1-1 draw back in March.
Mason is now well and truly reaping those rewards, with Price flourishing in advanced central midfield role in between the experienced figures of Mikey Johnston and Jed Wallace, whilst playing behind summer recruit, Aune Heggebo.
The Pontefract-born man has become one of the second-tier's hottest properties in such a short period, scoring three times and posting a further assist in the opening month of the season amid previous interest from newly-promoted Sunderland.
However, such impressive form isn't exactly being reciprocated in comparison to some of his colleagues at the Hawthorns.
According to Capology - a site which ESTIMATES player earnings - Price is collecting a weekly wage of £10,000 per week, equal to back-up goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith. This sees him take home a figure of £520,000 across the season as a whole.
Price is said to be the joint-eighth highest earner at the club as a result, as he falls behind the likes of Johnston, Wallace, Josh Maja, Jayson Molumby, Karlan Grant, Alex Mowatt and new loanees Samuel Iling-Junior and Charlie Taylor.
The club's prized asset following the recent departure of Tom Fellows, is also ESTIMATED to be £22,308 behind top earner Daryl Dike in terms of salary, although the USMNT international remains an enigma to many Albion supporters due to his well-documented injury troubles.
Albion have had to be extremely shrewd when it comes to transfer dealings in recent times, and they could certainly reap the rewards from a financial sense in the future through Price.
As well as being a key figure for Mason in the early weeks of his tenure, the midfielder also became the youngest-ever player to reach 10 senior goals for Northern Ireland as he volleyed home a Justin Devenney corner in Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Germany at the RheinEnergiestadion in Cologne.
Former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie also sung Price's praises exclusively to Football League World, stating that it was a "massive boost" to Albion's promotion dreams that he remained at the club following the closure of the transfer window.
There is currently just under four years of his contract left to run, and whilst it remains to be seen how much of that deal will be fulfilled, Price could end up making West Brom a lot of money in the near future, should his impressive trajectory continue.
