At la Cantera Rojiblanca, every match is played with intensity and full commitment. This weekend was no exception. In Matchday 15, our young players faced highly demanding fixtures as the Regular Season nears its end. The overall balance was nearly perfect, reflecting the character and competitiveness of each squad, as they delivered in key moments and took important steps toward securing a place in the Final Phase.
We know la Nación Rojiblanca closely follows the growth of the best academy in Mexico, so here are all the details from these matches.
U-21
The young Rojiblancos earned a 3-2 win over Puebla at Gigantera in Matchday 15. El Rebaño struck first with an early goal from Diego Latorre, but La Franja responded and turned the game around early in the second half.
Far from backing down, Guadalajara relied on its competitive DNA and showed character to come back: Carlos Coronascored a brace, while Diego Latorre appeared once again to seal the victory. With this result, los Rojiblancos remain in playoff position, sitting third overall with 28 points.
U-19 (Women’s Team)
Our Rojiblancas secured their second win of the week. After a dominant victory over Mazatlán, Guadalajara Sub-19 Femenil defeated Xolas 2-1 on the road in Matchday 15. Despite falling behind early, the team showed character to respond, with goals from María Pérez in the 34th minute and Yessenia Guzmán in the 89th minute to secure a valuable win.
They currently sit in fifth place in Group 2 with 21 points, with a game in hand on fourth place, meaning their qualification hopes remain in their own hands.
U-19 (Men's Team)
Guadalajara Sub-19 defeated Puebla 1-0 at Gigantera in a match they largely controlled. The breakthrough came in the 31st minute, when Zinedine Hernández scored the decisive goal.
With this result, el Rebaño moves into eighth place overall with two matchdays remaining, keeping qualification for the Final Phase within reach.
U-17
The U-17 squad delivered a strong performance, defeating Xolos 2-0 away in Matchday 15. The team maintained constant high pressure and created frequent danger before finding the net late in the match.
Carlos Bernal opened the scoring in the 65th minute, while Hendrick Castañeda sealed the win in the 75th. This team continues to enjoy an outstanding campaign, leading their group with 35 points and building strong momentum toward the end of the Regular Season.
U-15
The U-15 side played a thrilling match on the road, battling until the end in a high-scoring contest that finished 4-3 in favor of Xolos. Ángel Coronado gave el Rebaño the lead in the 15th minute, but the hosts responded with three goals before the half-hour mark.
Despite the setback, Guadalajara showed resilience and pulled one back before halftime. In the second half, they kept pushing forward and found an equalizer in the 90th minute; however, in the very next play, the hosts scored the decisive goal.
Beyond the result, the team remains in playoff position, sitting third in Group 2 with 25 points, just two points behind the top spot.
