Manchester United begin their quest to regain the Carabao Cup tonight with a tricky test against Grimsby.

The Red Devils, who won the competition in 2022-23 campaign after beating Newcastle in the final at Wembley, have entered earlier than usual this season due to not having any European commitments this term.

And they are at Blundell Park tonight hoping to avoid a major cup upset and ensure they are in the hat for the third round draw which takes place following the conclusion of their second round tie.
