Gunners bidding to avenge last season’s defeat in the San Siro
Arsenal face Inter Milan tonight in, arguably, the standout fixture from the Champions League this week.
The two sides met in the league phase last season with the Serie A giants coming out on top 1-0 thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty in first half stoppage time.
The Gunners go into this game on the back of a frustrating goalless draw against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, though they were able to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points after Manchester City and Aston Villa were both beaten.
Mikel Arteta’s side head to Italy hoping to maintain their perfect start to the league phase which would seal a place in the round of 16 with a game to spare.
Inter, meanwhile, have not picked up a single point in their last two outings in the Champions League, losing at home to Liverpool on the back of a last gasp defeat away at Atletico Madrid.
Those results have left the Nerazzurri looking over their shoulders for a top-eight finish as they end the league phase with a tricky test against Borussia Dortmund next week.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the match...
