Content creators take to home of football for popular YouTube match
The Sidemen, the YouTube group, are back at Wembley Stadium this afternoon for another instalment of their Charity Match.
The seven British YouTubers - KSI, Miniminter, Wroetoshaw, Zerkaa, Vikkstar123, TBJZL and Behzinga - will all take to the hallowed west London turf in a bid to raise funds for the Brightside and M7 charities.
Last year, ‘SDMN FC’ took on the ‘YouTube Allstars’ in a thrilling encounter, raising £4.7million for charity.
This time around, the Sidemen have gone big with their invites once more, with some of the internet’s biggest names taking to the field today.
While IShowSpeed, MrBeast and Logan Paul will not take part this time, Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke will play for a second year running after he scored in the last edition.
There is a twist for today’s match, with the Sidemen splitting up across the two teams for the first time.
In previous renditions, the seven have stuck together on one side, but this time around, KSI, Miniminter and Behzinga will all don the red shirts of YouTube Allstars.
Other notable names across the two teams are football YouTuber ChrisMD, Swedish streamer Marlon, who recently starred in the Sidemen’s hit Netflix show ‘Inside’, and Niko Omilana, who has previously ran to become Mayor of London as part of a YouTube comedy documentary.
