HSV ‘discussing’ move for Dortmund chief Kehl

Hamburger SV are weighing up an approach for Borussia Dortmund sporting director Kehl as they search for a successor to Stefan Kuntz.

Sky Germany reports that Hamburg’s hierarchy are discussing a possible move for Kehl. He is under contract at Dortmund until 2027, though his role is not considered untouchable.

HSV are assessing options after Kuntz was dismissed two weeks ago.

Kuntz is defending himself against allegations of sexual harassment, which he strongly denies.

Other well-known names in the frame include Oliver Bierhoff, Fabian Wohlgemuth of VfB Stuttgart, and Jonas Boldt, with Bierhoff and Boldt both without a club.
