HSV winger Emir Sahiti is set to join Maccabi Tel Aviv on loan until the end of the season.

Bild reports that the move includes a €500,000 option for the Israeli club to buy the 27-year-old.

The Kosovan joined HSV from Hajduk Split in 2024 for €1.2 million but has not established himself in the first team.

A loan is viewed as a sensible solution for all parties given his lack of minutes. He remains well liked in the squad and has conducted himself impeccably.

The club will monitor his progress during the loan and wish him well in Israel. He has also contributed to their Bundesliga season.
