Hugo Bueno is in talks with Fiorentina over a possible move, Molineux.news reports, and any exit could open the door for David Moller Wolfe.

The Spaniard was among Wolves’ better performers in a dismal 2025/26, starting most matches at left-back. He played 35 Premier League games for over 2300 minutes and drew praise from fans for his outlet play.

Such a development could carry clear implications for Moller Wolfe, who struggled for minutes last season.

The Norwegian managed 22 appearances and just over 1000 minutes, yet showed promise. He struck two goals, both in one Carabao Cup tie against Chelsea, and provided two assists.

He has also produced two good displays for Norway at the World Cup so far, registering an assist for Erling Haaland in the opener against Iraq.

Bueno’s creativity would be a loss, with Data MB ranking him sixth among left-backs in the top five leagues for combined expected goals and assists at 6.18, behind Nico O’Reilly, Marco Palestra, Senny Mayulu, Nuno Mendes and Samuele Angori.

If Peixoto moves to a back four, Moller Wolfe may prove the better fit, arguably the stronger defender while still offering attacking output.

With his World Cup form, interest in him cannot be ruled out, but if Bueno is sold Wolves would be wise not to lose Moller Wolfe as well.
