Bayern Munich will make a late decision on Harry Kane's role against Real Madrid after he returned to training, Vincent Kompany said on Monday. The head coach confirmed the striker is available.
According to BuLi News, Kane rejoined full team training on Monday as he recovers from an ankle knock ahead of Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg in Madrid. Kick-off at the Santiago Bernabéu is 21:00 CET.
Kompany said: "It was important that he did a lot of training today. I don't think he has lost his rhythm. We'll wait until tomorrow and then decide."
"Harry knows how important this match is. He must also say whether he's ready to start. We'll see how it goes tomorrow," he added.
On team news, he said: "Everyone is available except Sven Ulreich. We have a great squad and are ready for the games."
Kompany noted every detail will matter on his first Real Madrid visit as a coach, and that tactics and individual quality could shape the outcome. "We've prepared thoroughly for Real and have studied what they did against City. It's perhaps the toughest away game you can play, but we want to win."
