If Chelsea want to finish the season on a positive note, they need Cole Palmer back to his best. The attacker has struggled all year, but he’s clearly keen on Liam Rosenior and feels he can get back to his best under the new manager.
“I feel like he’s got really good man-to-man management. He makes time for everyone and it’s a genuine connection. He wants to see how you are, he cares for you and wants you to do well. So he’s a really good coach and manager,” Palmer said in an interview on the club’s official website.
Palmer also noted that he was enjoying being a free flowing attacking team – but would like to see a few more clean sheets.
“It’s good [that we’ve shown we can turn games around]. It’s just probably better if we don’t keep going behind in the first place! But to know that we can do it is good. Obviously the table is tight, so we need as many points as we can get.”
Rosenior has hinted that there could be a change in Chelsea transfer policy to come after this week’s setbacks.
The Chelsea goalkeeping discussion dominated talk in press conference yesterday, and Rosenior made some unfortunate comparisons.
