Konrad Laimer can well imagine a long-term future at FC Bayern. In an interview with the Austrian news agency APA, the 28-year-old made it clear that he feels very comfortable in Munich and is open to a possible contract extension

„I’m certainly concerned with what the future holds. I feel very comfortable here. I’m always open to everything and relaxed. And as I said: I like it here in Munich,“ explained Laimer. The Austrian international is currently tied to the German record champions until 2027. Concrete talks about an extension are not publicly known, but the statements clearly show that Laimer is not averse to staying beyond the end of his contract. Bayern bosses also recently emphasised that they would like to continue working together

In sporting terms, the versatile defensive player has taken another step forward this season.
