Arijon Ibrahimović has returned to Bayern Munich aiming to force his way into Vincent Kompany’s plans after an encouraging loan at Heidenheim. According to BuLi News, the 20-year-old is back with renewed confidence and clear ambitions.
He played a meaningful role last season, gaining valuable Bundesliga minutes and taking another step in his development. Now he is competing for a place at the Allianz Arena in one of Europe’s strongest squads.
Ibrahimović said he has the chance to play for what he called the biggest club in the world and wants to make the most of it. He added that he is very happy to be back.
Aware that minutes will be hard won after summer recruitment, he accepts he is supposed to act as back-up to new winger Luis Díaz. He said he will get his chances and hopes to use them to show his talent.
Rather than being daunted, he plans to give his all in training and in matches wherever possible. He said it remains to be seen whether that convinces the bosses to play him more.
His versatility across both wings and central attacking roles could boost his opportunities across the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League.
