Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic has named two legendary coaches he wishes he had the chance to work under during his playing career, and has made a big prediction for Carlo Ancelotti and the Brazil national team: ‘He has a magical touch’.

The Rossoneri advisor spoke on stage at the two-day ECA conference in Rome, weighing in on a number of topics including the 36-team Champions League, the use of VAR and his favourite coaches past and present.

Ibrahimovic on favourite coaches and Brazil World Cup claim

The 44-year-old represented Milan, Inter, Juventus, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Ajax during his playing days, and though he has worked under some of the game’s greatest ever tacticians, including Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and Fabio Capello, there are still some coaches Ibrahimovic wishes he could have worked with.

“(Alex) Ferguson and (Jurgen) Klopp,” Ibrahimovic said when asked which coaches he wishes he could have played for.

Ibrahimovic also made a big prediction regarding one of his former coaches, Ancelotti.

He feels that the Selecao, under the guidance of Ancelotti, have what it takes to win the 2026 World Cup.

“I hope it’s Brazil with my friend Ancelotti. He has a magical touch, which can turn Brazil into gold as well.”
