Mauro Icardi is set to leave Galatasaray when his contract expires on 30 June and wants a Serie A return, with Juventus, Milan and Roma cited. Fabrizio Romano reports that the 33-year-old has indicated his openness to rejoining Italian football.
The Argentine made his name in Serie A with Sampdoria and Inter from 2011 to 2019.
At Galatasaray he registered 77 goals and 25 assists in 134 games, suggesting his penalty-box instincts remain sharp despite the lower profile of the Turkish league.
Juventus are viewed as the clearest suitors given uncertainty around Dusan Vlahovic’s future.
Milan’s interest is less defined amid the club’s leadership vacuum, though his profile as an experienced, prolific centre-forward matches their need.
At Roma, Gian Piero Gasperini is said to admire the striker’s finishing and is seeking a deputy for Donyell Malen.
Como, Lazio and Fiorentina are monitoring the situation but are considered less likely at this stage.
Icardi would be available on a free transfer, although salary demands will require careful consideration.
