The weight of a historic jersey can feel heaviest after a defeat. For Juventus coach Igor Tudor, the emotional toll of recent results was palpable, spilling over in a raw and heartfelt reaction.
The spectacle of a Champions League night, which saw his team locked in a breathtaking, high-scoring duel with Borussia Dortmund, failed to mask his profound disappointment. Rather than celebrate the offensive fireworks that etched the match into the tournament's history books, Tudor seemed burdened by the defensive frailties it exposed.
This frustration, born from the European thriller, was only compounded days later on the domestic front. A crucial Serie A encounter against rivals Inter Milan added another layer of pressure, leaving the Bianconeri boss to grapple with a whirlwind of emotions as he assessed a challenging period for the famed Italian club.
I'm already tired of these kinds of matches! We're conceding way too many. Yes, we're scoring a lot too, but this can't continue. In the second half, it was tough to keep up the energy after such a grueling Serie A game, while Borussia had a pretty comfortable match at the weekend. Still, the guys showed character, and once again the substitutions made a huge difference.
