Tudor has signed a short-term deal until the end of the season as he replaces Thomas Frank, who was sacked earlier in week following the 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle.

The appointment of Tudor is designed to "to improve performances and deliver results" as Tottenham seek to pull away from the relegation zone and go as far as possible in the Champions League.

As a new era at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium won’t start straight away, here’s everything to look forward to in the short-term...

What is Igor Tudor's first game as Tottenham interim head coach?

As communicated in the official club statement, Tudor will start work immediately once he has received a work permit.

He is expected to take charge of Tottenham training for the first time on Monday.

With Spurs not in FA Cup action this weekend, it means Tudor's first game as interim head coach will be the north London derby against Premier League leaders Arsenal on February 22.

That will also serve as Tudor’s first home game in charge.

What are Igor Tudor’s first six fixtures as Tottenham interim head coach?

We've already mentioned the first, but it will be a tough baptism of fire for Tudor as Fulham (a), Crystal Palace (h) follow on from the north London derby.

Then the Champions League round of 16 tie is either side of a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool to round off his first six fixtures as Tottenham interim boss.

Things don't get any easier after that as Tottenham face Nottingham Forest and Sunderland either side of the March international break and there could be a Champions League quarter-final tie to negotiate in early April.
