Ilan Kebbal injured, Samir Chergui close to return for Strasbourg v Paris FC | OneFootball

Ilan Kebbal, Paris FC’s leading scorer, has suffered a left quadriceps injury and will miss Sunday’s 15:00 trip to Strasbourg.

L'Équipe reports he had been suspended for last Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Lyon. He has eight Ligue 1 goals this season.

Antoine Kombouaré will also be without Tuomas Ollila, who sustained a calf dead leg in training this week. They join long-term absentees Pierre-Yves Hamel, Rémy Riou and Hamari Traoré, who is in recovery after knee surgery.

Sofiane Alakouch, often injured this season, suffered a relapse this week. Meanwhile, Samir Chergui has trained with the squad for a second straight week after a thigh injury at the Africa Cup of Nations. Though still short of sharpness, the Algerian could return to the Paris squad.

Maxime Lopez is available, said Kombouaré, having left him out last week.
