Arsenal confirmed on Tuesday the signing of Illan Meslier on a free transfer after his Leeds contract expired. The 26-year-old joins the reigning English champions on a deal of unspecified length.
The French goalkeeper had been linked with the Gunners for several days.

Meslier spent seven seasons at Elland Road, making 215 appearances and keeping 70 clean sheets for Leeds.
He slipped behind Welsh veteran Karl Darlow, 35, and Lucas Perri in the club’s goalkeeping order, and did not feature last season.
He is likely to be third choice at Arsenal, behind David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
