There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding Fernandez’s future following the defeat to PSG, and that has only grown over the international break.
Fernandez has spoken on a number of occasions about Madrid, and it’s clear he’s trying to angle for a move to the Spanish giants.

It’s been reported in the Spanish media a move could be difficult this summer, and Merson feels the price tag could be an issue.
“With the World Cup also coming up this summer, some of the top players around the world will look to use that tournament as a platform to impress other teams and seal a transfer,” he told Sportskeeda.
“Enzo isn’t worth £100 million unless Argentina win the World Cup again.
“I doubt Chelsea will concede a loss while approving his exit. That could make the Real Madrid switch difficult in my opinion.”
