Iñaki Williams will make his 390th Liga appearance for Athletic on Saturday against Mallorca, moving joint eighth in the club’s all-time list alongside Larrazabal.

As reported by as.com, only José Ángel Iribar on 466, Joseba Etxeberria on 445, Óscar de Marcos on 435, Iker Muniain on 434, Txetxu Rojo on 414, Andoni Iraola on 406 and José María Orue on 391 are ahead of the captain and Larrazabal.

Williams could draw level with Orue on 391 in the Basque derby at San Mamés against Real Sociedad on the first of February.

Across all official competitions he ranks ninth for Athletic with 489 appearances.

He sits 19th on the club’s scoring list with 112 goals.
