Incoming Real Madrid boss Mourinho sends transfer message to Man United | OneFootball

Soon-to-be unveiled Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has made his stance on the future of Blancos star Aurélien Tchouaméni clear with a view to next season.

This comes amid speculation linking the France international with a move to the Premier League with Manchester United.

Tchouaméni, it is understood, has been earmarked as a leading transfer target on the part of the Old Trafford hierarchy, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park.

After a high-profile late-season falling out with Blancos teammate Federico Valverde, it had in turn been suggested that Real Madrid could be open to a sale at the right price.

As alluded to above, though, no such move will be forthcoming in the case of José Mourinho getting his way.

As per a report from Manchester United journalist Samuel Luckhurst, writing for The Sun:

‘United shortlisted Tchouaméni as a possible midfield marquee target after Madrid endured a second successive trophyless season. However, Mourinho does not want to sell ahead of his imminent return to the Bernabéu.’
