Injured Real Madrid star spotted with national team | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Franco Mastantuono was on Wednesday spotted alongside his compatriots in the Argentine national team camp.

This comes despite the youngster being sidelined through injury at present.

Attacker Mastantuono was for his part condemned to a spell on the treatment table earlier this month, after being diagnosed with pubalgia.

The 18-year-old was therefore not called up by Argentina for an upcoming friendly meeting with Angola.

As alluded to above, though, this did not stop Mastantuono from making clear his commitment to Lionel Scaloni’s squad this week.

The Albiceleste are currently enjoying a training camp in Spain, ahead of facing off with Angola on Friday evening.

With the reigning world champions in close proximity to Mastantuono’s base in Madrid, the former River Plate talent therefore made the trip to Argentina’s training base this morning.

The understanding is that as much comes with Mastantuono keen to maintain a close bond with his teammates, and remain clued in on manager Scaloni’s tactics, with a view to next summer’s World Cup.
