With the transfer window now upon us, Serie A’s top clubs have begun moving to strengthen their squads.
Roma and Inter, currently tied at the top of the league, are preparing for a duel that promises to extend from the pitch to the negotiations.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri’s dream signing remains Manu Koné. However, the Giallorossi are unlikely to open up to selling the Frenchman as the capital club’s stance is still the same: Kone is a key player for Gasperini.
The Nerazzurri are also monitoring Morten Frendrup, a long-time target who has also been in the sights of Roma and Napoli: the Genoa midfielder is attracting the attention of major Italian clubs, but De Rossi is reportedly unwilling to part with him in January.
At Inter, however, the situation of Davide Frattesi remains to be evaluated, as he continues to be limited playing time and could become one of the hottest names to leave during the winter transfer window.
