Simone Inzaghi will have to do without two of his key first-team players for Inter’s upcoming Serie A match against Roma next weekend, as both Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will have to serve suspensions as a result of their booking during the Easter Sunday game against Bologna.

Both Bastoni and Mkhitaryan were already on four yellow cards for the 2024-25 season before kick-off against Bologna, and after picking up bookings during Sunday’s game at the Dall’Ara, both will have to sit out of the visit from Roma on April 26.
Mkhitaryan was shown a yellow card in the 40th minute for polling back Jens Odgaard, while Bastoni was cautioned just past the hour mark after he bundled into Dan Ndoye on the halfway line.
Fortunately for Inzaghi, both will still be available for the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against rivals Milan coming up on Wednesday, but not for the Roma game a few days later.
