MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC playing out the Second Leg of their Round of 16 series on Wednesday at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

The first encounter finished in a goalless draw in Nashville. Inter Miami goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair had four saves to take a clean sheet against the home side.

Lionel Messi, German Berterame, and Rodrigo De Paul will seek to lead The Herons one step closer to a first Champions Cup crown, after the club collected its first league title last season.

Nashville FC’s goalkeeper Brian Schwake also showed great skill under the posts in the second leg, recording his third clean sheet in the Concacaf Champions Cup. With one crucial save he denied Inter Miami any away goals to fall back on.

Warren Madrigal and Sam Surridge will aim to find the net for Nashville SC, who is also in the search of its first Champions Cup title after winning the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2025.

The winner of this series on aggregate will advance to the Quarterfinals. Away goals serve as the first tiebreaker. If necessary, extra time and a penalty shootout will be played to decide a winner.
