Inter Miami have loaned defender Tomás Avilés to CF Montréal until the conclusion of the 2026 season.
The club said in a statement that Montréal will also hold an option to acquire the defender following the loan. As part of the deal, Inter Miami received a 2026 international roster spot.

Avilés, 21, joined Inter Miami in August 2023 and made 87 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and supplying two assists.
He played a key role as the club won the inaugural Leagues Cup in 2023 and the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield with a record-breaking 74 points.
He was also part of the side that lifted the 2025 MLS Cup.
