Ange-Yoan Bonny capped a dream first start for Inter under Cristian Chivu with a goal and three assists in the 4-1 win over Cremonese at San Siro.

The French forward, handed his first start by Chivu, was named man of the match after a brilliant display in attack.

“It’s beautiful to win,” Bonny told DAZN after the final whistle, with quotes via FCInterNews.

“We’re giving continuity to our results, and I’m happy to have helped the team.”

Asked to rate Nicolò Barella’s display as makeshift playmaker, he smiled:

“Always a 10 as a regista.”

The Italian played a slightly deeper role after Hakan Çalhanoğlu was rested; Davide Frattesi also made his first start under Chivu tonight in the Turk’s place.

Bonny also reserved praise for his coach.

“It’s important to have Chivu as a coach: he gives me confidence every day.

“I know that if I work well, he’ll give me a chance.

“It was like that at Parma too, so I thank him for trusting me. We have to keep going like this.”

Bonny followed Cristian Chivu in his move from Parma to Inter in the summer.

The move took place not long after Cristian Chivu took over as head coach of the Nerazzurri.
