Inter Milan’s club directors will travel with Cristian Chivu and the squad to the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They anticipate that it will be an “all-hands-on-deck” approach from the Nerazzurri senior management.
Inter Milan will travel to the United States for the Club World Cup in just a few days.
The Nerazurri will begin their campaign in the competition in a little over a week. They kick off their group stage against Mexican side Monterrey.
And Inter have gone through massive upheaval in the lead-up to the Club World Cup.
Inter lost out on the Serie A title by a single point on the final day of the season to Napoli last month. Then, they suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
After that, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi decided to step down. He joined Al-Hilal.

Cristian Chivu is the man who will come in to replace Inzaghi on the Inter bench.
The 44-year-old former Nerazzurri defender will have the faith of the club to try and instill a different atmosphere after an extraordinarily tough few weeks.
But doing so won’t be easy.
However, Inter have an opportunity to immediately start regaining their confidence. The Club World Cup can see the team put the last month behind them and make a fresh start under Chivu.
But the team and their young new coach will need the support of the club behind them.
Therefore, reports Tuttosport, Inter’s senior management will be on the plane to the United States with the team.
Only Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta could stay behind, to deal with transfer market business.
