Injuries to Carlos Augusto and Marcus Thuram have forced Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi to call up Primavera starlet Luka Topalovic.
As per FCInterNews, the 18-year-old completed today’s training session with the senior team.
While Topalovic worked with Inzaghi’s finest, Marcus Thuram trained separately from the group.
Indeed, yet to recover from an ankle problem, the Frenchman could start Saturday’s game against Genoa on the bench.
Unfortunately, a calf issue could rule Carlos Augusto out altogether.
Simone Inzaghi could face Genoa in a crunch Serie A game a bit shorthanded.
Unless Thuram miraculously regains full fitness, Lautaro Martinez will have a new partner in the front third.

However, Mehdi Taremi failed to live up to expectations against Juventus.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if Inzaghi opted for Marko Arnautovic instead.
Meanwhile, Topalovic would likely be on the bench should he make the matchday squad.
The prodigious attacking midfielder has excelled for the Primavera side.
Yesterday, he opened the scoring in a 4-1 demolition of Monza.
