Marseille loanee Benjamin Pavard is proud of his stint at Inter Milan, naming them the best club in Serie A.
During his latest interview via FCInterNews, the Frenchman spoke about his title-winning experience at San Siro.
The Nerazzurri paid Bayern Munich a whopping €30 million to sign Benjamin Pavard in the summer of 2023.
Furthermore, the 30-year-old repaid the club’s trust in his first season at the club.
Indeed, he was part of the team that won the Serie A title under Simone Inzaghi in 2023/24.
However, recurring injuries curtailed Pavard’s momentum, often keeping him sidelined during crucial periods.
The situation escalated this summer when Inter put the ex-Stuttgart and Lille defender up for sale.
Despite failing to offload him until deadline day, Inter managed to engineer his move to Marseille in the dying moments.
Meanwhile, they’ve signed Manuel Akanji from Manchester City on loan to fill the vacancy.

Speaking of his decision to return to France, Pavard insisted he made his choice based on his ambitions.
“I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t think OM can achieve great things in the Champions League,” Pavard said. “I left France at 20 to go to Germany.
“Then, I started in Stuttgart, where I developed. At Bayern Munich, I was lucky enough to win every trophy.
“After that, I went to the best club in Italy and won the Serie A.
“I have experience, and I will try to pass it on to the players. It’s up to me to give advice.
“There are several players with experience. The most important thing is to be solid in defense.”
Then, he talked a bit about Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi, comparing him with Inzaghi.
Asked about De Zerbi’s explosive nature, he replied; “I don’t think you’ve ever seen Simone Inzaghi.
“The first time I arrived in Italy, I thought he might be crazy.
“But in reality, they are people passionate about their work. It may be a bit surprising in France, but they are true enthusiasts.
“I can’t wait to start this adventure with the coach.”
