Inter Milan are reportedly ready to part ways with Marcus Thuram (28) during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to La Repubblica.

Eliminated from the Champions League in such a surprising and early manner by Norwegian side FK Bodø/Glimt in the play-offs for the final phase of the competition, the Nerazzurri pocketed only €66 million. A far cry from the €137 million they earned from their epic run to the final last season.

A difference with serious consequences for the Milan club, which will have to rebalance their budget for the next financial year. To do so, Inter will have to sell some of their assets. Starting with Thuram, whose sale could be used to offset the loss of European revenue. If the Frenchman were to leave the European runners-up next summer, it would guarantee them a total capital gain on a player who arrived on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

Contractually bound to Inter Milan until June 2028, the striker, whose performances have dipped this season, has a market value of €60 million, according to Transfermarkt. But Thuram may not be the only one to pay the price for this European disappointment, as Denzel Dumfries (29), who recently returned from injury, could also be on his way out.
