Idrissa Touré is attracting the attention of many sides thanks to his excellent showings in his maiden Serie A season, including Inter, which have a few question marks on the right wing behind Denzel Dumfries, who’s currently out with an ankle injury.

According to TuttoSport (via Mediaset), the Nerazzurri will seriously consider the Frenchman if Luis Henrique never finds his footing this campaign. They don’t plan to be hasty and pull the trigger in January, unless a really good deal falls into their lap.

The transfer of Touré to Inter could be facilitated by the excellent rapport between the clubs. Pisa took in Ebenezer Akinsanmiro on loan last summer, and his spell has gone very well. They are eyeing Valentin Carboni for the upcoming window, as he’s not a regular at Genoa.

The 27-year-old found a home in Tuscany after being a journeyman at the beginning of his career. He got his start at RB Leipzig, Schalke, and Werder Bremen before Juventus signed him for €1.37M in 2019. After a couple of years in Serie C with the Next Squad, he headed to Vitesse temporarily and was scooped up by his current outfit for €1M in 2021. A couple of seasons later, he became aguably their best player. Napoli are after him as well.

Our Take on Inter and Touré

His physical impact has remained the same after the promotion, and he’d already be in a bigger team if his technique and finishing skills were a little more refined. He’s pretty much a discount version of Dumfries. While the interests of the two teams intertwine, he’d be an unusual signing for the Scudetto runner-ups given his age. Instead, Carboni should definitely be on the move.
