According to an exclusive report by journalist Alfredo Pedullà, three of Italy’s top clubs—Roma, Inter, and Napoli—are all closely monitoring Verona’s young Brazilian forward Giovane.

High Valuation and Competition

Giovane, who is about to turn 22 and arrived at Verona on a free transfer, is rapidly increasing his value. Verona is currently valuing the attacking winger at no less than €15 million plus bonuses, which could push the total fee towards €20 million. The club is confident the price could rise further based on the player’s potential.

Interest from Top Clubs

The Nerazzurri are showing serious attention, with Sporting Director Piero Ausilio reportedly having already placed a phone call to the forward’s agent. The Partenopei are also “at the window” and, along with Inter, will continue to study the player before making a final decision. The report notes that Giovane is also highly appreciated by Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma’s coach, for his evolving qualities and potential to become a leading player. Roma is expected to be active in the January market, potentially seeking one or two new forwards (a center forward and a winger).

Pedullà describes Giovane as an unpolished talent that is set to “shine ever brighter,” suggesting a strong future for the young player currently at the center of attention for multiple Italian giants.
