Inter have set their sights on Marco Palestra, but a deal for the Cagliari standout remains highly complicated.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Nerazzurri are big fans of the 2005-born wing-back, who has impressed significantly during his loan spell in Sardinia this season. Despite their keen interest, no formal move has been made yet due to the significant hurdles surrounding a potential transfer.

The primary challenge for Inter lies in the fierce competition for the youngster’s signature, with Juventus and several Premier League clubs also closely monitoring his progress.

Furthermore, his parent club, Atalanta, has placed a hefty valuation on the player, reportedly demanding at least €40 million to consider a sale. While Palestra is a profile the Inter hierarchy admires, these substantial financial demands and the intense external interest make any immediate pursuit an incredibly arduous task for the Milanese club.
