We’re not into the international break leading up to the final run of the season. Following this, it’s a real race to the finish, with 7 Premier League games and the conclusion of the FA Cup all that’s left.

After a solid injury situation for much of the last few months, Chelsea are back in a spot of bother, with both Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James joining long term absentee Levi Colwill on the sideline.

Chelsea’s most used players set for more run outs

There’s major questions about who has the legs for this final run. Enzo Fernandez has played the most Premier League minutes of the outfielders at 2583. Chalobah is second, then Joao Pedro in third with 2323. Pedro Neto and Moises Caicedo close out the top five.

All of them are going to be playing for their national teams over this fortnight, and we can just pray that some of them don’t get a full 180 minutes. Joao Pedro may get a short break if Carlo Ancelotti decides to try out Igor Thiago or other forward options. With Enzo too we can hope that there’s at least one match starting from the bench.

In other news…

Kevin Kilbane’s criticism of Liam Rosenior got a lot of attention, and top pundits have now pushed back against it as too personal.

Things are moving quickly in a Graham Potter direction under Rosenior, with the new coach struggling to find a way to turn things around.
