According to Al-Kass, Al-Hilal's Italian manager Simone Inzaghi and Al-Nassr's Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus have, for now, rejected taking over the Saudi national team as successors to Hervé Renard.

Renard has been linked with leaving his post after a recent dip in results, alongside negotiations over a potential appointment to lead Ghana at the 2026 World Cup finals.

The pair prefer to focus on Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr through the final stages of the current season.

Even so, Jesus has not closed the door entirely, having given preliminary consent to assume the role in the future rather than at present.

The two managers are also contesting the Saudi Pro League title, with Al-Nassr top on 67 points, three ahead of second-placed Al-Hilal, and eight matches remaining.
