McKenna continued: “Everyone stuck at it and we deserve to be where we are today. To have the third promotion in four years at home on a sunny May day is perfect. We’ve steadily improved over the course of the year. We don’t start thinking about the Premier League today. We are going to enjoy this one.”

That final line felt important. The Premier League will bring its own demands, its own speed, its own questions. Those can wait.
