Forward Thomas is an Ipswich Town legend after spending more than a decade with the club while Hughes and Robertson have also enjoyed lengthy careers with the Suffolk side.

Ipswich Town are currently locked in contract negotiations with Kaci-Jai Bonwick, Maria Boswell, Laura Hartley and Megan Wearing while the club have 12 first team players onboard for the start of the 2026/2027 campaign.

Ipswich Town played Barclays WSL2 football for the very first time this season after winning the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division title in 2024/2025. The campaign has been very much one of two halves with The Tractor Girls having struggled before the winter break before kicking on in the second half of the season. Ipswich Town ended the season in the respectable position of ninth in the Barclays WSL2 table.
