Ipswich Town have announced the signing of Daizen Maeda from Ipswich Town for a reported £10 million.
The Japan international, who scored for his country during the 1-1 draw with Sweden at the 2026 World Cup, has signed a contract until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Maeda joins Ipswich from Celtic where he played 212 games in total, scoring 79 goals and making 37 assists.
"I am very proud to sign for Ipswich Town," the 28-year-old said on signing with the newly-promoted side.
"I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and I am very happy I can realise that dream with this club. I have loved all of the conversations with the club and they have made me feel very welcome.
"My aim will always be to battle hard, score goals, and provide assists for my team – I will always run and give everything that I have.
"I am excited to learn more about the club and meet the supporters."
Maeda becomes Ipswich's seventh signing of the summer window.
