Iran flew to Mexico on Saturday to establish their World Cup base, where they will remain for the tournament running from 11 June to 19 July.
The squad left Antalya, in Türkiye, after a 15-day training camp and are heading to Tijuana, which will serve as their base, according to Iranian state television.
They had initially planned to stay in Tucson, Arizona, but switched because of geopolitical tensions linked to the ongoing war between an Israeli-American coalition and Iran.
Drawn in Group G, Iran will play all their group matches in the USA, facing New Zealand in Los Angeles on 16 June at 03:00 and Belgium in the same city on 21 June at 21:00, before meeting Egypt in Seattle on 27 June at 05:00.
The players received US visas on Friday, though 15 members of the delegation did not, including the Iranian federation president, Mehdi Taj.
