Watford 1-1 Charlton Athletic at Vicarage Road, a result that drops the Hornets to 10th in the Championship.
In the 62nd minute Matt Godden, just on as a substitute, swept a right-footed finish into the bottom left from the centre of the box to put Charlton ahead.
The Hornets responded as Nestory Irankunda rattled the bar (66.) and then levelled with a low strike across Will Mannion after an Imran Louza pass on the break (74.).
Mannion was busy throughout, producing nine saves as Charlton protected their point under sustained pressure.
A lengthy stoppage for Conor Coady's injury late on extended added time before the visitors closed it out.
The Hornets piled up 31 attempts and 17 corners as they pressed, with 10 efforts on target. Charlton fashioned 14 attempts and hit the woodwork once.
Next, the Hornets visit Oxford United. Charlton host Preston North End.
