Iraq are weighing a change in goal for Monday's World Cup meeting with Les Bleus after a 1-4 opening loss to Norway. According to L'Équipe, kick-off is at 23:00 French time.
Before departure, their final workout took place at the Greenbrier Sports Performance Center in West Virginia. The team then arrived in Philadelphia on Saturday evening, a day before the French.
Right-back Hussein Ali did not train because of a neck problem, and left winger Ali Jasim, dealing with adductors, was kept apart from the group. Both are doubtful.
A switch in goal is also possible after starter Jalal Hassan showed nerves in the opener, with Ahmed Basil ready should Graham Arnold make a bold call.
The Australian head coach is due to address the media on Sunday early afternoon, before Didier Deschamps.
Probable Iraq XI in a four-four-two: Hassan, captain, or Basil in goal, H. Ali or Saadoun, Tahseen, Hashem, Doski in defence, Bayesh, Iqbal, Al-Ammari, Jasim or Qasem in midfield, Hussein and Al-Hamadi up front.
