Chelsea and Newcastle are back in Premier League action after galling results in the Champions League this week.
Liam Rosenior’s side competed well with PSG until a late collapse featuring more goalkeeping howlers in a week which has been full of them, ultimately losing 5-2 at the Parc des Princes.
Meanwhile Newcastle took a late lead through Harvey Barnes against Barcelona but came undone thanks to a last-ditch penalty, coolly converted by Lamine Yamal, to draw 1-1 in their own last-16 first leg.
After draws in two consecutive top-flight games the fifth-placed Blues are in need of a win to edge away from their competition for European places next season, as they currently sit tied on points with sixth-placed Liverpool.
Newcastle meanwhile are down in 12th place and nine points behind Chelsea, and will be hoping to have recovered from their exertions against Barca to claim a first win at Stamford Bridge in 14 years.
Chelsea host Newcastle at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 14 March, with kick-off at 5.30pm GMT.
Viewers in the UK can watch the game live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Go. If you’re not a Sky customer, you can grab a NOWTV Day Pass here to watch without a subscription.
Rosenior has a goalkeeping dilemma on his hands after Filip Jorgensen made an error for PSG’s third goal, with the similarly error-prone Robert Sanchez likely to be reinstated.
Chelsea have minimal injury issues with Jamie Gittens set to return from injury, though Estevao remains absent. Pedro Neto is facing the prospect of a Champions League ban after shoving a ball-boy at the Parc des Princes, and has now also been handed another one-match suspension in the domestic league following the FA’s verdict over his red card against Arsenal.
Eddie Howe will still be without Fabian Schar, Emil Krafth, Lewis Miley and captain Bruno Guimaraes, but Anthony Gordon, who was ill in the run-up to the Barcelona visit, may be fit to feature.
