Real Madrid kick off their Club World Cup campaign with Saudi Pro League runners-up Al Hilal on Wednesday evening. The La Liga giants will hope to impress in this tournament and bring their first piece of silverware to the club under new manager Xabi Alonso.

The former Bayer Leverkusen boss replaced Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the 2024/25 domestic season and has wasted no time getting to work at the Bernabeu with defenders Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold already brought into the squad during the summer transfer window.

Both could make their debuts for Madrid against Al Hilal who are going through a transition period of their own with former Inter Milan boss, Simone Inzaghi, now in charge. Real Madrid face Al Hilal at 3pm ET in Miami on Wednesday, June 18 which equates to 8pm BST.
