Bayern Munich will have enjoyed what they've seen from Ismael Saibari at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and so will have Morocco fans and even the neutral ones!
The Bundesliga giants submitted their interest for the current PSV Eindhoven player ahead of this summer's tournament and he's impressed on the global stage.
Saibari, who can play as a forward or an attacking midfielder, first scored the opener in Morocco's 1-1 draw with Brazil.
Now on Friday, he's added a second to his name. Alert and aware of his positioning, (plus some shaky defending from Scotland) saw Saibari step out at the perfect time to evade his defender, who played him onside at the same time.
The 25-year-old them blasted down the right wing and scored from a tight angle after only 71 seconds. That's the fastest goal of the tournament so far.
Additionally, according to Opta, he is "only the second African player to score in his first two appearances at the FIFA World Cup, after Egypt's Mohamed Salah."
With his medical reportedly completed and Bayern agreement set to be announced after the World Cup, we're sure he'll use the remainder of the tournament to show them what he's got.
