Issa Doumbia ‘rejects’ Besiktas offer amid Benfica interest

According to Glorioso 1904, Issa Doumbia has rejected an offer from Besiktas, despite the Türkiye club showing strong intent to open talks with Venezia.

The 22-year-old was not keen on moving to Türkiye, halting a process that was close to formal club-to-club contact.

In Portugal he is being monitored closely, with Sporting and Benfica among the sides interested in his signature. That list is expected to grow as the next transfer window approaches.

Doumbia has made 35 appearances for Venezia this season, logging 2,919 minutes on the pitch.

He has scored eight goals and supplied four assists, and is valued at eight million euros.
