After a controversial penalty and then an own goal by Leandro Paredes, the Pirate won 2–1 against Boca. Ruso Ricardo Zielinski’s team went ahead through Passerini and then extended the lead with an own goal by the Xeneize captain, after a free kick by Zelarayán. Chnguito Zeballos pulled one back for Boca, but Xeneize couldn’t equalize.
