Ivan Lima is struggling to make an impact at Piast Gliwice after leaving Benfica, despite making his senior debut under José Mourinho.
According to Glorioso 1904, the 21-year-old winger has featured only twice for the Polish side, totalling 29 minutes. He is regularly called up by Daniel Mysliwec, yet he rarely gets on the pitch.
Lima arrived with hopes of development, but he is still searching for his place in the league. His focus now is to show consistency and earn trust at the Ekstraklasa's current 13th-placed team.
He was among the first Seixal graduates to join first-team work after Mourinho took charge at Benfica, but he left permanently in the last winter window.
Earlier this season for Benfica he played 22 matches, 20 for the B team and two with the seniors, logging 1,226 minutes without a goal or an assist. He is valued at €500,000 and is under contract until the summer of 2029, aiming to add minutes before the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
