Franjo Ivanovic could be edging towards a Benfica exit this summer, with Hull City considered his preferred destination. According to Glorioso 1904, the Croatian forward is keen on the move in search of greater playing time.
Talks between Hull and Benfica’s hierarchy, led by Rui Costa, are already taking place. Ivanovic did not come off the bench in the win over St Gallen, with attacking alternatives selected instead.
Hull are not alone in pursuing the striker. Como in Italy and Betis in Spain are also monitoring his situation given his reduced role.
Betis, coached by Manuel Pellegrini, are viewed as having an advantage because they are ready to pursue a permanent deal, which fits Benfica’s preference to sell.
The structure of any exit remains undecided. Options on the table include a straight sale or a loan with an obligation to buy, a formula that also appeals to Benfica.
