Izan González joins Girona FC until 2029 | OneFootball

The Blanes native Izan González, 21 years old, will wear the Girona jersey for the next three seasons. The young midfielder, under contract until June 2029, arrives from UE Cornellà, although this season he played on loan at Granada CF in the Segunda A after a first half of the season at CE Europa.

Born in Blanes on November 5, 2004, Izan González took his first steps in football at AD Ca La Guidó in Blanes, then moved to UE Costa Brava and later to UE Cornellà, where he completed his formative years. He has also played for FC L’Escala and CE Europa. His steady growth and adaptability have made him one of the young players with the most potential on the national scene.

After accumulating minutes with CE Europa during the first half of last season, Cornellà canceled his loan to send him to Granada CF, where he participated in 18 matches and made his professional football debut.
